First RCOOP Series To Begin on October 31st
Published on October 13th, 2010 5:14 pm ESTFirst there was the WCOOP (World Championship of Online Poker), which was then followed by the SCOOP (Spring Championship of Online Poker).
Now there is a third "COOP" series at Pokerstars - the RCOOP (Regional Championship of Online Poker).
The RCOOP will feature a total of 13 different regional series, with each series featuring a total of 11 individual tournaments.
The 13 different series will be open to players from specific regions. For instance, the Nordic Championship of Online Poker, which will run from November 4-14, will be open to players from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Aland Islands, Faroe Islands and Greenland.

Baltics Championship of Online Poker (November 4-November 14)

As mentioned, each regional series will include a total of 11 tournaments.
For instance, the USA Championship of Online Poker will kick off on November 21st with a $55+R No Limit Hold'em (6-Max) and $215 Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo event. The series will wrap up on November 28th with a $530 NLHE main event that will feature a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000.
The USA Championship of Online Poker, as you can probably figure out, will only be open to players from the United States.

One more note - the "English only" rule will be abolished over the course of the RCOOP, with players being able to converse in their own "native tongues".
