Phil Ivey Looking For His Ninth Bracelet in WSOPE High Roller Event
Published on September 22nd, 2010 6:20 am ESTThe 10k No Limit Hold'em Heads-Up event at the WSOPE (World Series of Poker Europe) drew many of poker's biggest names, including Phil Ivey, Tom "durrrr" Dwan and Daniel Negreanu.
Day 1 of the event is now in the books, with the original field of 103 players having been whittled down to 32.
Some of the players who are still alive in the event after Day 1 include Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Howard Lederer and Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies.
Phil Hellmuth, Tom "durrrr" Dwan and Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi were some of the big names who hit the rail on Day 1.

The eventual winner of this event will take home over 288k pounds, while the runner-up will receive approximately 178k pounds. All of the players who win their Round of 32 match-ups on Wednesday afternoon will be guaranteed a minimum of 22,847 pounds.
