Trex313 Up Over $2.5 Million Dollars in 2009
Published on February 7th, 2009 4:38 pm ESTHac Dang, better known as "trex313" on Full Tilt Poker, is off to an amazing start in 2009.
Dang is up nearly $2.6 million dollars so far in 2009, which nearly matches his $3.1 million dollars of profits from all of 2008. After a torrid January in which the high-stakes cash game pro netted $1.48 million dollars, Dang has padded his total winnings for the year with an additional $1.1 million dollars of profit in February.
Tom "durrrr" Dwan is staging a bit of a comeback after his disastrous run in January. Dwan is currently up around $970k over the first six days of the month. This takes a bit of the sting out of his incredible $3.25 million dollar downswing in January. Can he continue his upswing and turn profitable in 2009? I don't think that anyone would be the slightest bit surprised if he did.
"tsarrast" (+739k), "JohnnyPav" (+346k) and John Juanda (+233k) round out the list of the top five biggest winners on the site so far this month.
Niki Jedlicka, previously known as "Kaibuxxe" before he inked a sponsorship deal with Full Tilt Poker, is enjoying a bit of a resurgence in February. Jedlicka is up $213k on the month. Jedlicka is an extremely volatile player who goes on tremendous heaters / downswings, so I would definitely keep an eye on him this month.
Sami "LarsLuzak" Kelopuro is the biggest cash game loser so far this month on Full Tilt Poker, having dropped a total of $806k over just 3,274 hands.
Kelopuro's friend, Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies, is also off to a rough start this month, having dropped a total of $716k over 4,627 tracked hands.
The list of the top five losers on Full Tilt in February is rounded out by: "howisitfeellike" (-398k), "OnTheRize" (-252k) and "luckexpress10" (-237k).
Phil Ivey has dropped an additional 202k in February, bringing his total losses in 2009 to $1.17 million dollars.
