The results of the World Poker Tour event taking place at the Bay 101 Casino are now in; don't read beyond this point if you don't want to have the TV broadcast spoiled for you.
Moneymaker's back, but Phil Gordon was better. According to Bay 101 Casino, Phil Gordon put both Chris Moneymaker and Masoud Shojaei out in the last hand. Should make for interesting TV, there are a lot of people who are going to be surprised that Moneymaker placed so high in a high profile poker event. May prove some of the Moneymaker nay-sayers wrong, and make for some interesting TV at the 2004 World Series of Poker which is rapidly approaching.
Anyways, here are the results, straight from Bay 101's web site, more details as they come down:
1 Phil Gordon $360,000
2 Chris Moneymaker $200,000
3 Masoud Shojaei $103,300
4 Scott Wilson $79,800
5 Susan Kim $68,400
6 Mark Mache $57,000
