Full Tilt Poker have announced their promotions for this year's World Series of Poker. Starting this week, you will be able to qualify for a number of different WSOP events through FTP, including the $10k main event and the $50k HORSE event.
Full Tilt will once again have their "$10 Million Main Event Mania" promotion this year. If you qualify for the WSOP main event through Full Tilt Poker and then go on to win the event, Full Tilt Poker will give you an additional $10 million dollars, on top of whatever you win in the main event.
Next up is the "Race to the Main Event" promotion. Every Sunday until June 22nd, FTP will be awarding three seats to the World Series of Poker via a Freeroll. To qualify for these "Finals Freerolls", you must either qualify through a process that involves winning a preliminary SNG, then placing first or second in a "Round Two" freeroll that runs four times per day, and then finally placing first, second or third in a "Finals Freeroll" that runs every Sunday at 4:30 pm EST.
If you don't have time to do all of this and you are an active player, then Full Tilt will be awarding you a seat to the "Finals Freeroll" if you earn 3k or more Full Tilt Poker points over the course of one week.
Next up are the "Weekly Cash Qualifiers". There are a number of these, including:
-$200+$16 Tuesday event that will run weekly with one seat guaranteed
-$300+$22 Wednesday event that will run weekly with two seats guaranteed
-$1,000+$60 Thursday event that will run weekly with five seats guaranteed
-$500+$35 Sunday event that will run weekly with two seats guaranteed
As well, FTP will be hosting their "150 Seat Main Event Guarantee" event on June 15th. There will be 150 seats Guaranteed (obviously), and the buy-in will be $500+$35.
Next up is the "$50k H.O.R.S.E." qualifier, which will take place on Sunday, June 8th. This will be a $1,000+$60 buy-in event, with one seat to the $50k H.O.R.S.E. event and $2k spending cash being guaranteed.
Full Tilt will also be hosting daily "Race for Bracelets" tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $26 to $75. One $2,000 package will be guaranteed in each tournament; a package that includes $1500 towards an entry fee to a preliminary event, and $500 in spending money.
Lastly, Full Tilt Poker will have a "King of the Main Event" promotion this year. Basically, they are going to be rewarding the player who wins the most WSOP packages with a bonus prize package that will include first-class airfare to the WSOP, limousine transportation from the airport to your hotel, a suite for the duration of the Main Event and a "crown" on your FTP avatar. Also, if you top "Rac00n" from last year and win more than six packages, then Full Tilt will give you an additional $25,000.
All in all, Full Tilt does a pretty good job of giving players with different bankrolls opportunities to qualify for a WSOP event.
Good luck if you are going to be attempting to qualify for the WSOP through Full Tilt over the coming weeks.
