Poker King will be providing full coverage of the "Showdown at the Sands" tournament which takes place from November 13 - November 24th. Fox Sports Net will be televising the championship showdown on Thanksgiving Day, so be sure to check your local listings to see when it is televised in your area. The winner of the championship No Limit Hold'em Tournament is guaranteed a one million dollar first prize, so this tournament is sure to attract some of the biggest players in the business.
On November 13th, there is a No Limit Hold'em sattelite tournament with a buyin of $200, with the winner getting 1 seat for the championship event, beginning on November 22nd.
From November 14th to November 20th, there are a variety of different small tournaments, with games such as 7 Card Stud and Omaha Hi-Low, with first prizes ranging from $50,000 to $100,000.
On November 21st, there is a No Limit Super Satellite, with a $500 buyin and 5 seats to the final No Limit Hold'em Event being up for grabs.
From November 22nd - November 24th is the final No Limit Hold'em event, with a buyin of $10,000. Players are whittled down to 9 going into the last day, when the winner will be crowned.
