Series Will Run From May 31st to July 20th
Published on February 23rd, 2022 2:03 pm ESTThe day has finally arrived - the World Series of Poker has finally released its schedule for the 2022 WSOP.
The tournament series will run from May 31st to July 20th and will feature a total of 88 live bracelet events.
After a long run at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, the World Series of Poker will be moving to the strip, where it will be hosted by Bally's and Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.
The main event will run from July 3rd to July 16th and feature its traditional buy-in of $10,000.
There will be no vaccine mandate this year, and players will not be required to wear masks in the casino (as of this moment).

Registration will officially begin at 9 am on Tuesday, May 31st.
The first official event will be the $500 Casino Employees No Limit Hold'em tournament, which will get underway at 11 am on Tuesday, May 31st.
The first event that is open to the public will be the $100,000 High Roller Bounty tournament, which gets underway at 3 pm on Tuesday, May 31st.

There will be a total of 14 online bracelet events as well, and these tournaments will run from June 5th to July 17th.
Roughly half of these tournaments are open to players in Nevada, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, while others are open to players in just Nevada and New Jersey.

The 2022 World Series of Poker will feature buy-ins ranging from $400 to $250,000.
With no vaccine mandate and international travel rules returning to normal, there is an expectation that this will be the biggest World Series of Poker of all time.
