$150 Buy-in Event Will Feature Guaranteed Prize Pool of $5,000,000

Earlier today, GGPoker revealed that they will be hosting their second anniversary of the "GGMasters" on March 20th.

To celebrate, GGPoker is naming this event as the "Overlay Edition", as the layout of the tournament virtually guarantees that there will be a large overlay.

The "Overlay Edition" of the GGMasters event will be taking place on March 20th.

The buy-in will be $150, and the guaranteed prize pool will be $5 million.

In order to make this the "highest value tournament of all time" (according to GGPoker themselves), there will be no re-entries, as the tournament will be played in a freezeout format.

That means - once you are out, you are out.

GGPoker will be holding three flights for this event, all of which will take place on Sunday, March 20th.

There will be an Asia Flight which gets underway at 12:00, a Europe flight that begins at 17:00 and an "Americas" flight that starts at 22:00.

All of the remaining players will reconvene at 17:00 on Monday, March 21st, when Day 2 of the event will get underway. The tournament will play down to its conclusion on March 21st.

GGPoker is currently running a number of different satellites in order to qualify for the event.
