Doyle Brunson Will Be Looking For Another WSOP Bracelet in 2021
Published on July 17th, 2021 11:57 am ESTThe 2021 World Series of Poker is going to be a very special event.
After the COVID-19 pandemic essentially wiped out the 2020 WSOP series, players from all around the world are anxious to participate in poker's biggest event.
This should result in some very big crowds, especially given the growing legal online poker market in the United States.

Phil Ivey has said that he is playing at this year's World Series of Poker, which starts this fall.
Apparently big name that has indicated that he will be playing as well?
Doyle Brunson.
Brunson will be turning 88 in a few weeks, so he can't grind as hard as he used to.
With that being said, Brunson has indicated that he will be playing in a "few select events" this year.
Brunson is hoping to add on to his considerable WSOP bracelet total, which currently sits at 10. As of this moment, Brunson is five back of Phil Hellmuth.
Brunson's first bracelet came all the way back in 1976 (he won two that year), and his most recent bracelet was won in 2005.

Brunson hasn't indicated which events he will be playing in as of yet, though you can bet that the $50,000 Poker Players Championship and $10,000 main event are both strong possibilities.
