Best-of-5 Match To Begin at 1 pm PST

Ivey and Antonius were both able to navigate through a talented field in order to reach the finals. There weren't many easy matches in this tournament, as the vast majority of the entrants were talented heads-up players.
Phil Ivey, for instance, had to beat the likes of Stephen Chidwick and Anthony Zinno to make it through to the finals, while Antonius had to get past Sam Greenwood and Doug Polk.

The two men made a name for themselves during the "poker boom", and both ended up inking deals with Full Tilt Poker to be members of "Team Full Tilt".
Ivey and Antonius continue to show that they remain at the absolute tops of their games, even though both men are now in their 40s.

The format of the final match-up in the WPT $25,000 Heads Up Championship will allow for more play between the two men.
The blinds will rise every 11 hands, up from the 7 hand level that was used in every round up until now.
In addition, the finals will be a best-of-5.
