Parker Talbot Signs Sponsorship Deal with Pokerstars
Published on April 7th, 2021 11:29 pm ESTParker "Tonkaaaap" Talbot is one of the most popular streamers in the Twitch.tv Poker universe.
Despite his successes on the poker table, and despite his ability to attract thousands of simultaneous Twitch.tv viewers (even with sporadic streams), Talbot decided that he was going to step away from the full-time grind of streaming on Twitch.tv.
After deciding to end his sponsorship deal with 888 and dramatically cutting back on his streams, many people thought that Talbot was done with the streaming scene.

Earlier this week, Pokerstars announced that they had signed Talbot to a sponsorship deal.
Going forward, Talbot will be a member of Pokerstars Team Pro Online, joining the likes of Lex Veldhuis, Ben "Spraggy" Spragg and Fintan "easywithaces" Hand, just to name a few.
Here is Pokerstars' announcement of the deal:
Welcome to the team @SquidPoker and @tonkaaaap.

With this deal, Talbot will presumably be dramatically upping the number of streams that he broadcasts, which will be good news for fans of the Twitch.tv Poker scene.
Talbot streamed some of his SCOOP action earlier today and showed that he hasn't lost his touch, as he had well over 3,000 simultaneous viewers when we tuned in.
