Tournament Series To Feature 306 Tournaments and $100 Million in Guarantees
Published on March 23rd, 2021 6:00 pm ESTThe schedule for the 2021 SCOOP (Spring Championship of Online Poker) has now been released by Pokerstars.
This year's SCOOP series, which starts on April 4th and runs until April 28th, will have an eye-popping $100 million in total guaranteed prize money.
There will be a total of 102 "events", and each of these events will have a High, Medium and Low buy-in tournament.
So, there will be a total of 306 individual SCOOP tournaments to be played.

There will be a total of SIX SCOOP main events this year - three No Limit Hold'em main events, as well as three Pot Limit Omaha main events.
This will come as welcome news to the poker community, as Pot Limit Omaha has surged in popularity over recent years.
The $10,300 and $1,050 No Limit Hold'em main events will both have guaranteed prize pools of $5 million, while the $109 buy-in main event (Low) will have a guarantee of $3 million.
The Low, Medium and High buy-in Pot Limit Omaha main events will have guarantees of $350,000, $750,000 and $1,250,000, respectively.

The smallest buy-in event will be just $2.20, while the biggest buy-in event will be the $25,000 Super High Roller.
There will be a total of 225 Hold'em tournaments, 45 Omaha tournaments, 6 8-Game tournaments, 6 Stud tournaments, as well as three each of 5-card draw, Hold'em/Omaha, Razz, Single and Triple Draw, and Badugi.
There will be 115 Knock Out events, 47 Turbo events and 72 short-handed events.
