Spring Championship of Online Poker on Pokerstars Set To Run From April 30th to May 19th
Published on April 22nd, 2020 2:32 pm ESTEarlier this week, Pokerstars revealed that the 2020 edition of the SCOOP (Spring Championship of Online Poker) will have total guarantees of $85 million.
This year's edition of the SCOOP will run from April 30th to May 19th, though SCOOP Phase events have already gotten underway.
SCOOP events will feature three different buy-in levels - Low, Medium and High.
For instance, the SCOOP main event, which gets underway on May 17th, will have a Low buy-in ($109), a Medium buy-in ($1,050) and a High buy-in ($10,300). The guarantees for these events will be $3 million, $5 million and $5 million, respectively.
The first event of the series will kick off at 13:00 EDT on April 30th, and that will be the 8-Max, Progressive KO event. The three buy-ins will be $22, $215 and $2,100, and the guarantees will be $300,000, $750,000 and $1,000,000.
Other notable tournaments include:
8-Max Super Tuesday events on May 5th with two guarantees of $1,000,00
8-Max Progressive KO on May 7th with two $1,000,000 guarantees (Medium, High)
8-Max Super High Roller on May 12th with a guarantee of $2,000,000

The start of SCOOP 2020 will overlap with the finish of partypoker's POWERFEST event, which is set (currently) to conclude on Sunday, May 3rd.
