"VeniVidi1993", "ActionFreak" Favoured To Defeat Phil Galfond

The list of opponents for Phil Galfond and his "Galfond Challenge" continues to grow, and now there is a company that is offering up odds on some of the matches.

As of this moment, six opponents for Galfond have been confirmed - Bill Perkins, Brandon Adams, Chance Kornuth, "Venividi1993", "ActionFreak" and Daniel "Jungleman" Cates.

Most of the matches will be taking place at stakes of €100/€200, while the match against "ActionFreak" will be taking place at stakes of €150/€300.

In order to entice people to play him, Galfond has offered up juicy side bets to all of the participants in the challenge, similar to what Tom Dwan did with the "Durrrr Challenge".

For instance, in his match with Chance Kornuth, Galfond will pay out an extra €1,000,000 if he is down after 35,000 hands of €100/€200 have been played. If Galfond wins, he will receive an extra €250,000 from Kornuth.

Or, in his match against Bill Perkins and the "Thirst Lounge", Galfond will pay an extra $800,000 if he loses the match, while he will collect $200,000 if he wins.

As you can see, Galfond is a clear favourite in one of his matches (Brandon Adams), an underdog in two ("VeniVidi1993", "ActionFreak") and a coin flip in the last ("Jungleman").
