The tournament series will begin on September 5th and conclude on September 25th. Pokerstars promises that this year's WCOOP will be "bigger and better".
According to Pokerstars, the $5,200 main event will conclude on September 25th. In addition, Pokerstars said that there will be Low and High tiers for the main event.

2018's WCOOP had a total of 186 events, with each tournament featuring a Low, Medium and High buy-in.
There were a total of 1 million entries last year, which ended up creating a total prize pool of roughly $100 million. Pokerstars will have to work hard to top last year's event, though they seem intent on doing so.
Last year's $5,200 main event was won by "wann2play", who outlasted a field of 2,044 entries to take down a first place prize of over $1.3 million.

While sites like partypoker and America's Cardroom have done very well lately with some of their biggest events (such as the $5 million Venom), there is no doubt that Pokerstars is still the 800 pound gorilla of the industry, and I have a feeling that they are going to put some large guarantees into place for this year's WCOOP.
