Dwan To Represent Triton Poker Brand With Jason Koon
Published on April 29th, 2019 9:31 pm ESTEarlier today, Triton Poker announced that Tom "durrrr" Dwan has agreed to represent Triton Poker as a brand ambassador.
This means that Triton Poker now has two of the very best poker players in the world - Tom Dwan and Jason Koon - under contract as brand ambassadors.
Both Dwan and Koon had been playing in Triton Poker events prior to signing contracts to represent the company, so becoming brand ambassadors was likely an easy decision for both men.
Dwan will represent the Triton Poker brand for the first time at the upcoming Triton Poker Series in Montenegro, which runs from May 5th to May 17th. This event features buy-ins ranging from €11,000 to €110,000, with main events for both No Limit Hold'em and Short Deck poker, which has surged in popularity over the past year or so.

The Triton Poker tour was founded in 2015 by Richard Yong, who wanted a tournament series for high-end poker players and businessmen at some of the world's most opulent locations like Macau.
Yong didn't find it difficult finding players for his tournaments, as many of the entrants were already taking part in some of the biggest cash games in Asia.
One of these players was Tom "durrrr" Dwan, who migrated to the high-end cash games of Macau after Full Tilt Poker collapsed in 2011. With the US government clamping down on online poker, Dwan decided to focus more on the high-end cash games that were regularly taking place in Asia.
Dwan, like other participants of the bigger cash games in Asia, decided to start playing Triton Poker events, and his signing as a brand ambassador for the series was a logical next step.
