This Year's WSOPE To Feature €14,000,000 in Guarantees

Earlier today, the WSOP released the schedule for the World Series of Poker Europe, which officially gets underway later this year in the fall.

After years of bouncing around from city to city, WSOP officials have finally settled on King's Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic as the permanent home of the event, much to the delight of players from around the world. The owner, Leon Tsoukernik, as an avid poker player himself, and the resort always rolls out the red carpet to poker players around the world. In addition, King's Resort is very easy to reach, as it is just two hours from major airports in Munich, Prague and Nuremburg.

This year's WSOP will be starting on October 13th and running until November 4th.

In total, there will be 10 WSOP gold bracelet events with guarantees of more than €14 million.

There will be two tournaments with €5 million guarantees - the €100,000 High Roller as well as the €10,000 main event.

The main event will officially get underway on October 25th and feature two starting flights - players that bust on Day A are free to re-enter the event on Day B.

In addition to the World Series of Poker Europe, WSOP officials have decided to host a WSOP Circuit gold ring event directly before the WSOPE, which will make for 40 straight days of Festival poker.
