Bonomo Adds Another WSOP Bracelet To His Trophy Case
Published on June 10th, 2018 12:49 pm ESTHas there ever been a better six-month run than the one that Justin Bonomo is enjoying right now?
Since the start of 2018, Bonomo has added nearly $15 million to his total lifetime tournament cashes, bring his total to nearly $33 million. This means that there are just two players - Daniel Negreanu and Erik Seidel - that have cashed for more tournament money in their lifetimes.
Over the past six months, Bonomo has three seven figure plus cashes and countless more six figure cashes. This includes a second place finish in the PCA $100k Super High Roller ($1,077,800), a win in the Super High Roller Bowl Macau ($4,823,077) and a win in the Super High Roller Bowl in Las Vegas ($3,000,000).
As of that weren't enough, Bonomo outlasted a tough field to take down the second World Series of Poker bracelet of his career earlier this week, as he ended up winning the $10,000 NLHE Heads-Up Championship for $185,965. Note: Bonomo's other bracelet was won in the $1,500 No Limit Hold'em Six Handed event in 2014.
Since arriving in Las Vegas in late May, Bonomo has won four tournaments:
Super High Roller Bowl, $3,000,000
ARIA $25,000 High Roller, $350,000
ARIA $25,000 High Roller, $310,500
$10k NLHE HU Championship, $185,965
-
Players have made some insane runs over the past decade or so - Erik Seidel and Fedor Holz stand out as a couple.
The $15 million plus in winnings that Justin Bonomo has scooped over the past six months, however, is likely second to none.
