XL Blizzard $1,000,000 Main Event Takes Place Later Today

There is plenty for tournament players to sink their teeth into today, as 888Poker's XL Blizzard will conclude today with a number of big events, while Partypoker's Powerfest will continue.

The biggest event of the day on 888poker will be the $1,000,000 XL Blizzard main event, which will feature a buy-in of $1,050 and a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000.

XL Blizzard #31: $150,000 Mega Deep
XL Blizzard #33: $200,000 Mini Main
XL Blizzard #34: $50,000 Micro Main

888Poker's XL Blizzard series, which got underway on January 18th and featured a total of 34 events, will conclude on Sunday with the start of the $50,000 Micro Main event, which gets underway at 7:30 pm.

Partypoker's Powerfest VII series, which features a total guaranteed prize pool of $15 million, will continue today with a number of events.

Today's Powerfest VII schedule features a number of events, including:

Powerfest #24-M: $200,000 Guaranteed NLHE
Powerfest #25-M: $500,000 Guaranteed Title Fight Special Edition
Powerfest #26-H: $500,000 Guaranteed NLHE ($5,200 buy-in)

In total, Powerfest is offering up a total of a dozen events today, with buy-ins that cater to both recreational players and seasoned pros.
