The first $50,000 No Limit Hold'em event, which attracted approximately 50 players, was won by Nick Schulman, who took down the tournament for $918,000.

Fedor Holz, who has completely owned high buy-in events over the past couple of years, finished in 2nd place for $550,000, while Phil Hellmuth finished in 4th for $200,000.
The winner of the third $50,000 "prelim" event will be crowned on Saturday afternoon. 48 entrants turned out for that tournament, which ended up creating a total prize pool of $2.4 million.
There are currently 12 players left in Event #3 - Jake Schindler has the chip lead, while Dan Smith and Doug Polk also have very healthy stacks. Erik Seidel, Daniel Negreanu and Justin Bonomo are still alive, though they will need to do some work to make it through to the final table.
$50,000 "prelim" events continue until September 17th. On the 18th, the tournament series will be capped off by the $100,000 Championship, which will conclude on September 20th.
