$5 Million Guaranteed Sunday Million To Take Place on December 27th

Pokerstars, which is owned by the suddenly beleaguered Amaya, Inc., will launched its 2015 "Christmas Festival" on Monday. This "Christmas Festival", which will run until December 27th, will pay out more than $10 million over the course of its 1 1/2 month run.

From November 16th to November 29th, Pokerstars will be hosting a total of six Daily Double tournaments, ranging from a buy-in of $1.10 all the way up to $55. On Sundays, the guarantees for these tournaments will be doubled.

According to Pokerstars, if a player happens to win two of these tournaments (at the same buy-in) on the same day, they will receive an instant $1,000,000 jackpot.

In addition to these tournaments, Pokerstars will be giving out $2 million starting December 1st in the form of Golden Sit and Gos, Milestone Hands, Freerolls, PCA Giveaways, Challenges, Christmas Giveaways and Mega Bonuses. Players are invited to check the "Christmas Calendar" every day, starting December 1st, to see what Pokerstars will be giving away on that particular day.

Lastly, Pokerstars will be hosting a $5 million guaranteed Sunday Million on Sunday, December 27th. The tournament, which will have the traditional buy-in of $215, will see a minimum of $500,000 paid out to the eventual winner. Special satellites for this tournament will begin running on December 1st.
