European Poker Tour - EPT - Logo - Year 2015When it comes to High Roller and Super High Roller events, Erik Seidel is practically untouchable.

This past weekend, Seidel managed to navigate through an extremely talented field to take down the EPT11 Grand Final 100,000 EUR Super High Roller event for a little over 2 million EUR. The tournament, which finished with a total of 58 entries and 13 re-entries to create a total prize pool of nearly 7 million EUR, produced a final table that featured that likes of Seidel, Max Altergott and Scott Seiver. In the end, it was the experienced and focused Seidel that was able to navigate his way to the victory.

It certainly wasn't easy for Seidel, especially during heads-up play. Dzmitry Urbanovich of Poland, who ended up finishing in second place for 1,446,600 EUR, had a 3-1 chip lead over Seidel at one point but couldn't put the seasoned pro away. The two battled for more than five hours before Urbanovich decided to make his last stand with K-9 offsuit. Seidel woke up with pocket Tens, snap-called and was declared the winner a short time later.

Here is how the final table ended up finishing out:

1. Erik Seidel, 2,015,000 EUR
2. Dzmitry Urbanovich, 1,446,600 EUR
3. Max Altergott, 940,300 EUR
4. Dario Sammartino, 709,500 EUR
5. Igor Kurganov, 551,000 EUR
6. Thomas Muehloecker, 427,100 EUR
7. Fedor Holz, 337,500 EUR
8. Scott Seiver, 261,800 EUR
9. Vladimir Troyanovskiy, 199,620 EUR

With his win this past weekend, Seidel now has over $24 million in total lifetime tournament cashes, including multiple High Roller or Super High Roller wins that have produced cashes of over $1 million. It's tough to argue the fact that Seidel, who now has 28 career titles to his name, is the top high buy-in tournament player in the world.
