Jordison Wins First Three Events of Tournament Series

Angela Jordison is on the roll of a lifetime right now.

The 2015 Spring Poker Round Up is currently taking place at the Wildhorse Resort Casino in Pendleton, Oregon. The series, which concludes on April 19th, features a total of 12 events with buy-ins ranging from $110 to $1,500.

Angela Jordison decided that she would start off the tournament series by winning three events in a row - the $110 No Limit Hold'em tournament, the $215 No Limit Hold'em tournament and the $215 No Limit Hold'em Shootout.

These were not tiny events - Event #1 attracted 537 entrants, Event #2 attracted 448 entrants and Event #3 had a total of 214 participants.

For a total investment of $540 over the three events, Jordison walked away with:

Event #1 - $10,828
Event #2 - $18,348
Event #3 - $8,731

Jordison, who resides in Redmond, Oregon, has been a fixture at the Spring Poker Round Up for a number of years. Prior to this year, Jordison's largest cash had come in a $215 NLHE event at the 2009 Spring Poker Round Up when she finished in second place for $14,534.

After having never taken down a major tracked tournament, despite a number of very close calls, Jordison finally broke out in a big way this week, taking down three events in a row.
