£499,700 To Be Awarded To Winner
Published on October 17th, 2014 9:39 pm ESTThe 675 hopeful players who entered this year's EPT London main event have now been whittled down to just eight - Sebastian Pauli, Kevin Killeen, Kevin MacPhee, Artur Koren, Jonathan Bensadoun, Jake Cody, Jakub Mroczek and Pablo Gordillo.
One of these eight players will take home the first place prize of 499,700 pounds, which works out to about $800,000 USD. Taking down the tournament will be no easy feat as there are a number of highly skilled and well-known players who will be taking part in Saturday's final table.
Here are the chip counts heading into Saturday:

Kevin Killeen, 2,470,000
Kevin MacPhee, 2,430,000
Artur Koren, 2,420,000

All eight players are guaranteed a minimum of 51,900 pounds for making it to the final table.
