$2 Million Expected To Be Sent Out This Week
Published on September 22nd, 2014 8:16 pm ESTAccording to John Pappas of the PPA ("Poker Players Alliance"), the next wave of Full Tilt Poker 1.0 remission payments is expected to be sent out later this week.
In a post on Twoplustwo.com (link below), Pappas stated that the next wave of payments is expected to arrive in bank accounts anywhere from Wednesday to Friday of this week. This next wave of payments totals $2 million and includes a total of 600 successful Petitioners. This round of Petitioners includes former Full Tilt Poker professionals and anybody else who had yet to successfully complete a Petition.
On September 10th, the company in charge of the payment process, The Garden City Group, Inc. ("GCG"), revealed that the next round of payments would be made in "late September" and that those who had been approved for payment may be noticing zero-dollar transactions hitting their accounts. GCG revealed that this is normal and part of the repayment process as they prepare for payment.
