Daniel Negreanu Offering To Sell Pieces to the Public
Published on May 17th, 2014 4:03 pm ESTDaniel Negreanu is giving his fans a chance to back him at this year's BIG ONE for ONE DROP at the World Series of Poker.
Here is what Negreanu posted to his Twitter account earlier in the week:
"Selling 50% of my action for One Drop. Email pattylandis@hotmail.com for details if interested in having a piece of me."
The BIG ONE for ONE DROP is a $1,000,000 buy-in event that will be running from June 29th to July 1st. The tournament has a hard cap of 56 players - if that cap ends up getting hit, the eventual winner of the event will walk away with more than $20 million.
33 players, including Antonio Esfandiari (defending champion), Phil Ivey and Vanessa Selbst have already confirmed their participation in the event. The tournament will feature an interesting mixture of professional poker players, satellite winners, hedge fund managers and billionaire businessmen from Asia.
Most of the professional poker players in the tournament will be selling some of their action in order to play, as $1 million is a big chunk of money to put down on one tournament, regardless of how successful the player is. Daniel Negreanu, who is one of the most popular poker players in the world, is hoping to raise $500,000 via his fans and followers.

In addition to raising money for his ONE DROP buy-in, Negreanu is also actively seeking bets from the public on a Negreanu/Ivey WSOP bracelet prop bet.
If Negreanu or Ivey wins a bracelet at the World Series of Poker this summer, they win the bet. If they don't win a bracelet, the other side wins the bet.
The duo is accepting bets from $5,000 all the way up to $1 million from the public - if you are interested in the bet, more details are available via Negreanu's Twitter account.
