Series Will Run From December 20th to December 22nd

Earlier this week, Pokerstars revealed details of their "December Festival".

The "Pokerstars December Festival", which officially kicks off on December 1st, features a number of different events, including a $5 million Sunday Million and the start of the first ever WCOOP Challenge Series.

The WCOOP Challenge Series will run from December 20th to December 22nd. Pokerstars is guaranteeing $10,000,000 for the entirety of the eight event series.

In addition, the winner of each event will receive a ticket for the 2014 WCOOP main event, which is valued at $5,200.

The WCOOP Challenge Series main event, which takes place on Sunday, December 22nd, will have a total guaranteed prize pool of $3,000,000.

Here are the eight events that will comprise the inaugural WCOOP Challenge Series:

#1 - $109 NLHE, $500,000 Guarantee, Friday, December 20th, 13:00 ET
#2 - $215+R NLHE (Turbo), $1,000,000 Guarantee, Friday, December 20th, 17:00 ET
#3 - $700 NLHE (Progressive Super-Knockout), $1,000,000 Guarantee, Saturday, December 21st, 11:00 ET
#4 - $1,050 NLHE (8-Max), $1,000,000 Guarantee, Saturday, December 21st, 15:00 ET
#5 - $215 NLHE, $1,000,000 Guarantee, Sunday, December 22nd, 11:00 ET
#6 - $1,050+R PLO, $500,000 Guarantee, Sunday, December 22nd, 13:00 ET
#7 - $215 NLHE, $2,000,000 Guarantee, Sunday, December 22nd, 14:30 ET
#8 - $2,100 Main Event, $3,000,000 Guarantee, Sunday, December 22nd, 15:30 ET
