The final table of the EPT Barcelona High Roller event featured a number of big names, including the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Jonathan Duhamel and David Benefield.
In the end, however, it was Thomas Muhlocker who was able to navigate through the shark infested field to take down the first place prize of €390,700. Daniel Negreanu finished in second place for €263,800, while Jonathan Duhamel walked away with €118,000 for his fifth place finish.
Daniel Negreanu actually had a large chip lead when heads up play against Muhlocker got underway, but Muhlocker was able to battle his way back to take down the tournament. The final hand of the event saw Negreanu get all-in with his A-Q offsuit, only to be called by Muhlocker's A-K offsuit. The board ran out Kh-Tc-9h-5s-6h, giving Muhlocker the hand and the victory.
