Total Main Event Prize Pool of $1,184,260

A total of 100 low buy-in events comprised MicroMillions 5 - the first got underway on July 18th, while the last event (Event #100 - $1+R NL Hold'em Hyper-Turbo) is set to begin in just a couple of hours.
The biggest event of the series, the main event (Event #98), got underway a couple of hours ago.
Pokerstars was guaranteeing a total prize pool of $1,000,000 for the main event, which featured a buy-in of $22. The eventual winner of the event was guaranteed a minimum of $150,000 from Pokerstars.
In the end, a total of 59,213 players registered to play in the event, which ended up creating a total prize pool of $1,184,260. The eventual winner of the event will take home $160,726.14, while the runner-up will walk away with $117,715.44. The top 7,920 spots will pay, with a mini-cash being worth $47.37.

The 59,213 player turnout for the MicroMillions 5 main event was down substantially from the last MicroMillions main event. That event, which had a total field of 68,081 players, was won by "Ges26".
