888 Expecting Big Boost To Business From US Markets
Published on April 24th, 2013 1:53 am ESTAccording to 888 Holdings Plc CEO Brian Mattingley, the company is expecting to launch their online poker product in Nevada by this summer.
According to Mattingley, 888 Holdings is awaiting a "final sign-off" of their software by the Nevada gaming control board. Once that has been completed, 888 Holdings, which has already been granted an Interactive Gaming Service Provider license in Nevada, will be free to push forward with partnerships with Caesars Interactive Entertainment, WMS Industries and the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. 888 Holdings has licensing deals with all three companies.
888 Holdings Plc is expected to aggressively compete in all of the markets that are going to be opening up in the United States in the near future. 888 Holdings Plc is expected to be a player in the New Jersey market as well, as New Jersey Governor Chris Christie recently signed an online gaming bill into law.
The need for much-needed tax revenues has caused a number of states to rethink their stance on online gaming, and companies such as 888 stand to reap the benefits.
According to Mattingley, 888 Holdings Plc should really start to capitalize on opening US markets by 2015.

Shares of 888 Holdings Plc (888.L) have more than doubled over the past 12 months, thanks, in large part, to their plans to invade the US online gaming market.
