Russell Thomas Leads With Fifteen Players Left

Russell Thomas, who finished in 4th place in the 2012 World Series of Poker main event, will enter Day 4 of the WSOP APAC main event as the chip leader. Thomas managed to finish Day 3 with 1,677,000 in chips, which is roughly 150,000 chips more than Benny Spindler.
Two of the biggest names in poker, Daniel Negreanu and Antonio Esfandiari, are also still alive in the event. Esfandiari finished Day 3 with 1,050,000 chips, while Negreanu finished with 827,000.

A total of 405 players turned out for the first ever WSOP APAC main event - this turnout ended up creating a total prize pool of $3,847,500 AUD.
