Phil Ivey is no longer a sponsored pro on Full Tilt Poker, but that hasn't stopped him from continuing to play on the site.

Phil Ivey has returned to Full Tilt Poker under the alias of "Polarizing" and has picked up where he left off before "Black Friday".

According to HighStakesDB.com, Ivey racked up nearly half a million in profits on Full Tilt Poker in the days leading up to Christmas. Ivey won the majority of his money during two heads-up 2-7 triple draw sessions.

3. Upcoming Events in the Poker World.

There is currently a bit of a lull in the poker world thanks to Christmas and New Year's. However, all of that changes in January thanks to two major "live" tournament events and the start of the MiniFTOPS on Full Tilt Poker.

The 2013 PCA (Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure) runs from January 5th to January 14th. MiniFTOPS XXI runs from January 6th to January 20th, with the $75 buy-in ($750,000 guarantee) main event taking place on Sunday, January 20th.

The 2013 Aussie Millions also gets underway in January, with the first event of this year's schedule beginning on Thursday, January 17th. The main event final table will take place on Saturday, February 2nd.
