"1-ronnyr3" Up $840k in December
Published on December 27th, 2011 8:10 pm ESTWith Full Tilt Poker likely at least a month or two away from re-opening their doors, the bulk of the online high stakes cash game action continues to take place on Pokerstars.com.
According to HighstakesDB.com, “1-ronnyr3” has had the biggest month so far in December, posting a profit of $840,077 after a total of 22,467 tracked hands.
Next up on the list? Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, who recently re-appeared on Pokerstars after a mysterious three month absence. The time off seems to have worked out for Blom, as he is currently up over $500k so far this month.
“1Il|1Il|1il|” and Ilari “Ilari FIN” Sahamies have both posted profits of over $400k so far this month, while “Terken89”, “Ben86” and “toweliestar” have all made at least $300k.

The largest loss of the month so far belongs to “VietRussian”, who has lost a total of $644k over a total of 19,928 tracked hands.
A couple of well-known names have also posted losing months in December, as Phil “MrSweets28” Galfond (-479k) and Patrik “Fake Love888” Antonius (-369k) have both lost hundreds of thousands of dollars so far this month (Note: “Fake Love888” is heavily rumored to be Antonius).
“Vaga_Lion” and “tjbentham” have both suffered $300k+ losses as well this month.

It will be interesting to see how much of the high stakes action switches back to Full Tilt Poker when the site re-opens in 2012, as is expected.
