Final Table of WPT World Championship Set
Published on May 19th, 2011 1:42 am ESTDay 5 of the WPT (World Poker Tour) World Championship wrapped up just a few minutes ago after David Peters was eliminated from the tournament in 7th place.
The original 220 player field in the WPT World Championship has now been whittled down to just 6. When the final table gets underway on Friday afternoon (Thursday is an off day), Galen Hall will begin play as the chip leader.
Hall, who took down the PCA main event earlier this year for $2.3 million, will be looking to secure the second seven-figure score of his career on Friday.
Here is how the final table will look when play resumes on Friday:
1. Galen Hall, 5,095,000
2. Scott Seiver, 5,075,000
3. Roger Teska, 3,600,000
4. Tony Gargano, 3,550,000
5. Freddy Bonyadi, 2,470,000
6. Justin Young, 1,750,000
Scott Seiver, who will enter the final table second in chips, has over $2.2 million in total lifetime tournament cashes, including a bracelet win in the $5k NLHE event at the 2008 World Series of Poker and a 1st place finish in the 2010 LA Poker Classic High Roller event.

All six of the final table participants are guaranteed a minimum of $225,654 for making it this far.
The eventual winner of the event will take home $1,618,344, while the runner-up will receive $1,061,900.
