The Latest From Full Tilt Poker Regarding US Players

Poker King is surfing the Full Tilt websiteNearly three weeks have passed since "Black Friday".

Pokerstars allowed their US players to start withdrawing their funds last week, and it seems as though things have been going smoothly. Aside from an occasional glitch or two, American players have been getting their balances from Pokerstars back with no problems.

Full Tilt Poker, on the other hand, has been a different story.

"Black Friday" took place on April 15th. It's now May 5th, and US players on Full Tilt Poker still haven't received word as to when their balances will become available.

Last week, Full Tilt Poker emailed their US players and directed them to a "US Player FAQ Page". In regards to when US players would be able to withdraw their balances, Full Tilt Poker said this:

"Full Tilt Poker is diligently working on facilitating the withdrawal of funds for US Players. This is our top priority and we’ll have a further update in the week commencing Monday, May 2nd."

Full Tilt Poker, through "FTPDoug" on 2+2, gave US players another "update" yesterday.

The "update" was basically the same as the week before:

"We are continuing to work on facilitating the withdrawal of US Player funds. It remains our top priority, and we do apologize for the delay."

In addition, the US Player FAQ page now says:

"Full Tilt Poker is diligently working on facilitating the withdrawal of funds for US Players - this is our top priority. We are sorry for the delay and will update you with any progress made by Sunday, May 15th."

"FTPDoug" also had some news regarding T$, Tournament Tickets and rakeback/Cash Back payments for US players.

You can read the entire update from "FTPDoug" here.

So, it looks like (at least) another week of waiting for US players on Full Tilt Poker.
