US Players May Be Able to Withdraw Their Balances as Early as Today
Published on April 26th, 2011 2:19 pm ESTSteve Day of Pokerstars appeared on the newest episode of PokerCast on TwoPlusTwo.com earlier today to announce that Pokerstars will begin processing withdrawals for US players "very, very soon".
How soon?
According to Day, the "best case scenario" is that cashouts start being processed today (Tuesday). If the cashouts don't start being processed today, Day says, then he fully expects that they will start going out a "few days later than that".
According to Day, once the cashouts are requested, "people should have their money in a matter of days in most cases".
It sounds as though Wire Transfer, Direct Bank Transfer and physical checks might be available as cashout options to US players, but we'll wait until we hear an official announcement from Pokerstars.

Many US players have had their funds frozen in sites such as Pokerstars and Full Tilt Poker since "Black Friday".
Many people assumed that it would be months, possibly years, before they got their money back, if at all.

Hopefully we hear similar announcements from Full Tilt Poker and Cereus in the near future..
