Gus Hansen Dominant on Full Tilt Poker in 2011
Published on April 1st, 2011 12:59 pm ESTMarch was another strong month for Gus Hansen on Full Tilt Poker, as the Danish poker superstar was able to add another $1.51 million to his substantial 2011 profits.
After the first three months of 2011, Gus Hansen has a total profit of $4,097,298 on Full Tilt Poker, which is far ahead of players such as Daniel "jungleman12" Cates ($1,959,267) and Matt Hawrilenko ($1,385,018).
Over the past couple of years, Hansen has gotten off to extremely strong starts on Full Tilt, only to watch his profits turn into losses.
In 2009, Hansen was up over $2.2 million at the end of February, only to end the year with a loss of $5,575,624.
Last year it was the same story - a red-hot start for Hansen ($1.8 million in profits by the end of February), followed by a cold streak to close out the year.
Will 2011 be more of the same for Hansen, or will the "Great Dane" be able to hang on to his $4 million plus in profits?
