Scott "URnotINdanger2" Palmer Up $925k+ In January
Published on January 20th, 2011 4:13 pm ESTWho will end up being the big winner in the high stakes cash games on Full Tilt Poker in 2011? Who will end up dropping millions of dollars, never to be heard from again?
Through the first 19 days of January, Scott "URnotINdanger2" Palmer is the biggest winner in the high stakes online cash games after banking $925,091 in profits over a total of 11,196 hands. Palmer is looking to build on his breakout year in 2010 in which he made nearly $1 million on FTP and firmly established himself as a high stakes regular.
Di "Urindanger" Dang, who made over $2.1 million on FTP in 2010, is also off to a strong start in 2011, having made an estimated $811k over a total of 6,225 tracked hands. Thanks in part to his $811k upswing in the first 19 days of January, Dang is now up nearly $8 million on Full Tilt Poker since the beginning of 2007. Only Phil Ivey (+18.5 million) and Patrik Antonius (+11.07 million) have made more during that time.
Other players who have also gotten off to strong starts in 2011 include:
Jared "harrington25" Bleznick, +496k
Patrik Antonius, +388k
"refaelamit", +370k
Daniel "jungleman12" Cates, +367k
It should be noted that Phil Ivey (-171k) has barely played on Full Tilt Poker so far in 2011, logging a total of just 275 hands.
