Can Tom Dwan Win His First World Series of Poker Bracelet?
Published on June 6th, 2010 6:19 pm ESTTom Dwan has accomplished a great deal over his short career as a professional poker player.
Millions of dollars in cash game winnings. A lucrative spot on "Team Full Tilt". Frequent appearances on TV. Immense respect from practically the entire poker world.
Not bad for somebody who is just 23 years old.
Tom "durrrr" Dwan will look to add to his legend on Sunday when he attempts to win his very first World Series of Poker bracelet.
After two full days of play in Event #11 ($1,500 No Limit Hold'em), Tom "durrrr" Dwan sits as the tournament chip leader. Only 20 players sit between Dwan and his first World Series of Poker bracelet.
Tom Dwan is playing for more than just the bracelet and $614,248 first place prize.
According to numerous sources, Dwan stands to win "millions" in prop bets if he takes home a bracelet at this year's World Series of Poker. So, a victory in Event #11 could potentially make "durrrr" somewhere in the neighborhood of $3 million.
As mentioned, Dwan is in pretty good shape heading into Day 3 of the event. Here are the top five chip stacks as of right now:
1. Tom Dwan, 1,068,000
2. Marvin Rettenmaier, 953,000
3. Scott Hamilton, 947,000
4. Christopher Giddings, 842,000
5. Harsukhpaul Sangha, 837,000

Men "The Master" Nguyen defeated Brandon Adams in heads up play to win his seventh WSOP bracelet in the $10k Seven Card Stud Championship late last night.
Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, who was looking to become the year's first multiple bracelet winner, ended up bowing out in 6th place.
Men "The Master" Nguyen now has seven World Series of Poker bracelets, close to 70 lifetime WSOP cashes and nearly $10 million in total lifetime tournament earnings.
While Nguyen may not be the most popular poker player in the world (and that's putting it mildly), there is no denying the success that he has achieved during his career.
Men "The Master" Nguyen currently sits at #12 on the all-time money list, ahead of names such as Johnny Chan and Chris Ferguson.
