Jimmy Fricke posted a humorous email exchange in the Beats, Brags and Variance section of the 2+2 message board.
As you may or may not know, Jimmy "Gobboboy" Fricke finished in second place at the Aussie Millions last year. So he decided that it might be worth a shot to see if Full Tilt Poker might want to sponsor him for the tournament, since he did so well last year. He proposed that he wear Full Tilt gear in exchange for being sponsored for the main event or some other events. He sent this email to Full Tilt Poker.
Anyways, Full Tilt Poker sent an email back to Jimmy, saying that they do not take open solicitations for sponsorships, and that if they were interested in sponsoring him in the future, they would contact him.
Anyways, here is where the story gets interesting. Whoever emailed Fricke this response forgot to delete the email from Howard Lederer that included his thoughts on making this decision. Here is what that email said:
"The guy's a freak and a very weird dude. He is also quite young. I think we should stay away.
Howard"
I'm not sure what it is lately about poker rooms sending out things that they don't mean for the general public to see.
Hopefully the two of them are seated at the same table sometime during the Aussie Millions.
